What this website is

This website is general information about bail and about Essential Bail Bonds of Riverside, California. It exists so that a stressful situation is a little less confusing. By using it, you agree to these terms.

It is not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship or any professional relationship. Bail is part of a legal process; for legal questions about a case, talk to a criminal defense attorney. Karla can tell you how bail works. Only a lawyer should tell you what to do about a charge.

Bail services are a separate agreement

Actual bail bond services are provided under separate written agreements, at rates filed with the California Department of Insurance, and are subject to California law and Department of Insurance regulation. Nothing on this website is an offer to write any particular bond, and no bond exists until the paperwork is signed. No outcome of any case or release timeline is ever guaranteed.

Accuracy of information

Jail addresses, phone numbers, procedures, and bail rules change. Reasonable effort goes into keeping this site accurate, but facilities and courts are the authoritative source for their own current information, and the county's bail schedule is the authoritative source on bail amounts. If you spot something out of date, tell us and it gets fixed.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site or its forms to send spam, abusive content, or anything unlawful, and do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation. Form submissions that abuse the service are discarded.

Liability

This website is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Essential Bail Bonds is not liable for damages arising from use of the website itself, including reliance on general information that has changed. This section does not limit any right you have under a signed bail agreement or under laws that cannot be waived.
